Building Your Team Is Your Business

What if I told you that all you need is three things (Qualities) to build or develop anything in life or business?

(1). You must have a clearly defined why!
[Inother words you have to be able to make an informed decision based onwhere you are right now and focus on where you want to be in the future]

(2). You must have a passionate desire!
[In other words you are motivated by strong desire to succeed and you do whatever is necessary to achieve your dream]

(3). You must have a strong belief!
[In other words you have to believe to succeed and how you see yourself with determine what you become]

Rhinos & Manatees

Rhinos and Manatees have a few things in common.
They are both big mammals
They are both herbivores

They are both less than beautiful!
However, they are notably different when it comes to character traits and behavior!

Rhinos:

Rhinos have a hard charging, straight forward attitude
Rhinos have thick skin and very tough body armor
Rhinos are not easily intimidated or stopped

Manatees:

Manatees have a laid back approach to life in general
Manatees have a lot of insulation; but they are easily hurt or injured
Manatees are gentle, docile and complacent

Please understand, I am not casting a disparaging light on Manatees with my analogy; but I am trying to help you connect the dots between where you are and where you want to be. If you are a Rhino with Manatee qualities, then you already know what has to change. If you are a Manatee with Rhinos qualities you already know what needs to be improved.

It takes all kinds to make the world go round and everybody has a place in it. All you have to do is find your place, and be happy to work and live there. Being a successful entrepreneur will require you becoming more like the Rhino in your approach the life and if you are going to build something big you will have to be committed for the long haul.

If you are ready to take the next step you will know in your heart how to get to where you are going.
